Generation Gap
Across the street from the UT campus is a pretty good bookstore, Intellectual Property. Or, was. It's going out of business. How can a bookstore die within sight of a college campus? Across the street. Directly across the street. A hundred feet from a campus containing fifty-one thousand (!) students.
Is it possible that all books are now downloaded and read online? On computer screens, or laptops, or Kindles, or iPhones? Or is it simply that no one reads anything, anymore, at all?
